We began our sheep flock with Dorsets and then added some Dorset-Montadale Crosses. Now we have 2 Scottish Black Face rams and a Montadale ram. The Scotties have been very useful training sheep. Bernie and I still like the Montadales, so we continue to breed a few of them. In addition, the Scotty-Montadale Crosses have proven to be good working sheep. Our lambs are sold to people for training dogs or as breeding stock.
